The Lexington craft beer scene has grown exponentially over the last few years. Even though each of these breweries has their own ambience, style and specialties they share a passion for beer making and a desire to contribute to the local community. We are showcasing the best craft beer of Lexington on our Brewery Tours. We will take you and your friends out for an afternoon of beer in the Brewgrass.

Kentucky's craft bourbon distillery scene has boomed over the last decade. The Kentucky Bourbon Trail Craft Tour currently has 20 members. There are also many other craft distilleries operating or on the way. Join Stone Fences Tours in celebration of the entrepreneurial spirit of those breaking into the art/science of the process of creating America's native spirit. On our Kentucky Crafted tour, we will visit 3-4 of our favorite craft distilleries.

Have a “Mary” Christmas and a Dickens of a New Year

This Victorian Christmas tour has us traveling to the Mary Todd Lincoln home for a celebration of all things Mary. We will tour the home and engage in some Mary Todd Lincoln trivia and have some favorite Christmas treats of Abraham and Mary Lincoln. We will then visit the beautiful Waveland Estate to see Charles Dickens’ classic,  A Christmas Carol performed as we wind our way through each room of this historic home. This tour would be perfect for all generations of your family, work group, or church family. We will serve hot chocolate and Christmas treats on this tour.

The Clay’s were the first family of Kentucky The Clay men, Henry and Cassius, were at the forefront of national issues during the 1800s. Join us as we explore the lives of these politically influential men and their homes that served as an extension of their political office. Christmas would have been an opportunity for these Victorian gentlemen to display their wealth through gracious entertaining. Accompany us back in time as we experience Christmas with the Clays.

Millions of visitors come to Kentucky each year to taste America’s Native Spirit. Getting their bourbon passport stamped on the trail is on their bucket list. Bourbon Passport will help you complete your list. Join Stone Fences Tours and Bourbon Steward Jerry Daniels to learn the history of bourbon and the distilleries on the trail, while tasting the country’s best bourbon. Each of these distilleries has its own history and style of bourbon-making. So, come along with us and get your passport stamped in beautiful, historic Kentucky.
